Gay marriage (and priests and nuns): a threat to humanity’s future

So Pope Benedict XVI is scared about humanity’s future…

In a new year address to diplomats from around 180 countries, he said that the education of children needed proper “settings” and that “pride of place goes to the family, based on the marriage of a man and a woman”.

Philip Pullella, for Reuters, quotes the Pope:

“This is not a simple social convention, but rather the fundamental cell of every society. Consequently, policies which undermine the family threaten human dignity and the future of humanity itself.”

What I personally think is that technically, if all men became priests and all women became nuns, THAT would be a real threat to humanity’s future since there would be no possible way to have babies.

Oh wait. The Holy Spirit.
Forget what I just said.

     I’m only going to say this…

    7 billion people on the planet, if a few become priests, nuns, or unite in a gay/lesbian marriage I doubt that we as humans will feel the difference
